Early voting for the Directors Election has started. Voting by personal appearance will be conducted each weekday at the Timberhills Community Center at 14903 Carriage Park Humble, Harris County, Texas 77396, between the hours of 10:00 a.m. through 7:00 p.m., beginning on April 22, 2024, and ending on April 30, 2024. You may also vote between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at the same location. There are four candidates, please choose two.
We are pleased to announce the results of the recent election in Harris County MUD 49. With an impressive vote of 434 in favor and 134 against, the community has spoken, and the measure has passed.
We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who took the time to cast their votes. Your participation is a crucial part of our democratic process, and your voice matters. The great turnout is a testament to the strength of our community and its commitment to shaping its future.
The election process involves the collective efforts of our residents, and we are grateful for your active involvement in making decisions that impact our district. We were pleased to get to know each of you during our public education and outreach efforts, and we have listened to your concerns about the district and its services. Your engagement contributes to the betterment of our community, and we are proud to have such dedicated and caring neighbors.
As we move forward, we will continue to work diligently to serve the best interests of Harris County MUD 49 and its residents. We appreciate the trust and confidence you have placed in us to work on the district’s behalf, and we look forward to a bright future together.

The Board of Directors for Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 49 (HCMUD 49) would like to thank all the residents who came out and attended our Resident Educational Open House events on October 17 and October 24. Both nights were an excellent opportunity to get to know your neighbors, ask questions related to the District with our consultants, and understand the water, sewer, and drainage (WS&D) bond authorization proposition on the ballot. In attendance were the District engineer, operator, financial advisor, and legal counsel.
The Open House events are a means to raise community awareness and familiarity with the needs of the District and how MUDs fund projects efficiently and effectively. HCMUD 49’s Board of Directors cares about its residents and always seeks ways to engage with community members.
